IN 1978, Santa Claus had a little help from two friends at Hulton High School Christmas Fair.
The two fairies added that magic touch at the school in Longshore Drive, Little Hulton.
Amanda Leach, aged nine, left, and Jean Crompton, nine, of Peel St Paul's School, provided the sparkle.
The picture also shows David Houghton, aged four, of Armitage Grove, Little Hulton, having a chat with Father Christmas.
