RE. all the letters about Guy Harkin's plan to change the name of this once grand town of ours.
I agree the town is getting run down and dirty. A lot of it is down to ignorant people who don't keep their own homes clean never mind use the litter bins. As for the running down of the town's services, the answer is in the townsfolk's own hands.
