PASSENGERS using Chorley rail station will soon see a big improvement when they travel.
A £450,000 refurbishment project will provide new toilets, a split-level booking office counter and ramps for the disabled, and a new booking hall entrance.
Rail chiefs are also installing an upgraded CCTV system to be monitored by Chorley Council, and the front and side of the station and the site of the old level crossing will be landscaped.
