PUB landlord Carl Andrew Burgess appeared in court after a row with his partner.
Burgess, aged 35, of the Market Street Tavern, Stoneclough, appeared before Bolton magistrates and admitted a breach of the peace.
The court was told that police were called by his partner early on Sunday.
She claimed she and her one-year-old daughter were being threatened by Burgess.
Officers arrived and asked Burgess to leave but he refused, became abusive to them and was arrested.
Magistrates were told that Burgess and his partner had domestic problems and Burgess agreed his behaviour was "out of order".
He was bound over to keep the peace in the sum of £200 for 12 months.
