ELDERLY widow Doris Brown, aged 87, has been left heartbroken after thieves stole war medals belonging to her husband and father. The thieves struck when Doris left her Oldham house unoccupied after moving into a care home.
Doris's father Stanley Beaumont, earned his medals in the First World War and her husband, James was awarded his for his part in the Second World War.
