A FILM premier of a different kind takes place in Bolton on Wednesday.
Young people let the cameras do the talking when they were asked to give their views on the Farnworth area.
The project was aimed at encouraging children to become involved in local area forums.
Young people aged 10 to 13 from Zac's Youth Bar, Farnworth Inclusion Team and a local estate made a video profile of their area.
It will be screened tonight at Mere Hall in front of an audience of councillors from the South East Bolton Community Forum, council officers, other young people and voluntary groups.
The youngsters involved will be presented with a certificate for their hard work and commitment to the filming and editing.
The video will also be shown at the next meeting of South East Bolton Area Forum on Monday, January 12, at 6pm at Trinity Methodist Church, Higher Market Street, Farnworth.
Cllr Anthony Connell, the forum chairman, said: "I am delighted to see young people getting involved.
"The forums are an important way for all sections of the community to have their voices heard and this was an imaginative way to encourage young people to put their views forward."
