Wanderers legend Roy Hartle is selling his treasured football mementoes.
The collection -- estimated to be worth £12,000 -- includes his 1958 FA Cup winner's medal which he won in Wanderers famous 2-0 victory over Manchester United.
The footballer, nicknamed "Chopper", who many regarded as the best full-back never to win an international cap, expects the nine carat gold medal to fetch around £4,000.
The 1958 FA Cup final shirt is tipped to go for £1,500.
Mr Hartle, aged 72, is also selling his shirt and shorts from when he was in the squad for the 1953 FA Cup final in which Wanderers were beaten 4-3 by Blackpool. These are expected to fetch up to £1,200 and his autograph book, which includes the signatures of some of Manchester United's Busby Babes, is likely to sell for up to £700.
The mementoes were gathered during Mr Hartle's 14-year professional career at the Wanderers. They will be put up for sale at Bonhams auction house in Chester on January 28.
Mr Hartle joined Wanderers from Bromsgrove Rangers in 1948 when he was aged 16.
He signed professional in 1952 and played in every round of the 1953 FA Cup run -- only to miss out on a place in the final.
Together with his left-back partner, Tommy Banks, he formed what was arguably the most feared defensive combinations in English football.
He made 499 appearances for the club, 447 in the league, and scored 13 goals.
