THE body of Manchester doctor Richard Stevens has been found by walkers in the Lake District - six months after he went missing.
Dr Stevens, from Sale, was last seen on July 21 last year when he arrived for work at the Royal Manchester Children's Hospital in Pendlebury.
His remains were found by walkers exploring a disused slate mine on the Old Man of Coniston above Coniston Water and his death is not being treated as suspicious.
