DAVE Headon was the first Horwich Cycling Club rider home at the Army CU race in Ripon.
He finished 18th overall, with Liam Worthy the next Horwich rider in 22nd.
Matt Jones finished second in the youth race, while there was a Horwich one-two for the Gore family in the under-12s section, with Sophie first and Clare second.
Mark Leyland came fifth in a race at Coalville, despite having two punctures.
And he starred again when Horwich's riders travelled to Darley Moor Cycling Club, in Derby, finishing 11th on a bitterly cold day.
Dave Headon finished 21st, Dave Leyland 39th and Daniel Drake 41st.
Matt Jones was the first under-14 home in the youth race, coming in 11th overall, while Sophie Gore was sixth and Clare Gore 11th in the under-12 section.
