A MAN appeared in court charged with stealing £350 worth of groceries from Sainsbury's in Bolton.
Anthony Culver, aged 22, of Hall Lane, Farnworth, pleaded guilty to theft when he appeared before Bolton magistrates.
The court was told that he had been seen leaving the Trinity Street supermarket pushing a trolley full of items on December 22. A security guard chased him across the car park and caught him in a nearby alley. He was fined £50 and ordered to pay £20 costs.
