Cadishead 10 Bolton Mets 12: BOLTON Mets rugby league club notched up a club record fifth successive win with victory at Cadishead Rhinos.
The first half saw most of the rugby played in the Rhinos half as the Mets dominated. Tries from Dave Cain and Neil Walsh gave the Mets an 8-0 lead at half-time. After the break, full back Pierce Sherrington put the Mets further in front, finishing off a well-worked set piece.
Cadishead came storming back, scoring two tries and putting Bolton under pressure in the final quarter. But once again, the Mets defence was up to the task as they held out for the victory.
