A TEENAGER ran off with a policeman's helmet during a disturbance, a court heard.
Ben Nicholson, aged 18, stole the £50 helmet while police dealt with a fight involving 25 youths in Ramsbottom last Saturday, January 3. Bury magistrates yesterday ordered Nicholson, of Cocklinstones, Walshaw Road, Bury, to go to an attendance centre in Bolton for 12 hours and pay £47 costs.
