RADCLIFFE Borough attempt to keep their defensive mean streak going when they travel to Gainsborough Trinity in the Unibond Premier Division tomorrow.
Borough have kept two clean sheets in a row after conceding 29 goals in six matches.
But captain Davey Luker - who has been linked with a move to Cambridge United - led his side to a 2-0 league win over Bradford Park Avenue last Saturday and a 3-0 victory over Blackpool Mechanics in the Lancashire Marsden Trophy on Tuesday night.
Striker Steve Foster is in good form, having scored his first hat-trick for Radcliffe in Tuesday's win.
But Gainsborough, who lie in sixth - two places and eight points above Borough - are among the contenders for a place in the new Conference Division Two North next season.
LR aim to end run
ATHERTON LR aim to end a run of four successive defeats tomorrow when they host Warrington Town in the North West Counties League.
A 3-0 Boxing Day home defeat to local rivals Atherton Collieries capped a miserable December for LR, who are looking to climb from mid-table in Division One.
