RESTAURANTS in Bolton are being urged to help African children who have been orphaned by Aids by taking part in Lunch for Life.
They can raise money for international children's charity Plan UK by simply adding a pound to each table's bill in the week before March 21, which is Mother's Day.
Plan UK works closely with communities to provide counselling, basic medicines, help with making a will and support to earn an income by setting up small businesses.
To take part, restaurants should contact Plan UK to register on 0207 482 9777 or email Drop a line...sarah.courtenay@plan-international.org.uk.
