CANCER survivor and "miracle mum" Debbie Worthington has raised £50,000 for the hospital that saved her life.
Every year since her successful treatment in 1999 for Hodgkin's Lymphoma, a cancer of the lymphatic system, Debbie has organised a walk around Bolton's Rivington Pike to raise cash for the Christie Hospital specialist cancer centre.

The latest walk generated a record £19,000, attracted 100 people - another record - and meant Debbie reached her £50,000 target for the hospital in four years rather than five.
But it was 2002's trek that brought the real surprise. The 33-year-old said: "During the walk I started having bad stomach pains and was terrified the cancer had returned. You can imagine my shock and delight when the doctor told me I was seven months pregnant!"
Debbie, who lives in Aspull, Wigan, and works for Lloyds TSB as a manager covering the Bolton area, thought the cancer treatment had made her infertile.
Debbie said: "I want to thank everyone for their wonderful support. Family, friends and colleagues have been marvellous. We couldn't do this without their unflagging help and generosity and I hope they will all turn out again for the 2004 walk on August 8."
