YOUNGSTERS visiting The Lowry are to be treated like pigs.
Children are being asked to stick their heads into a 30-foot inflatable pig, which, from the viewpoint of passers-by, will make them appear to be a litter of piglets.
The conceptual art attraction is to form part of the arts centre's family day on Sunday, January 25, from 11am and 3pm.
The inflatable attraction has been created by Whalley Range All Stars.
The pig lies on her side there is a set of 10 windows for children to put their heads through to watch a show.
Seen from the outside, the children take on the character of a litter of piglets suckling at their mother.
Bosses at The Lowry, in Salford Quays, have also organised a new L S Lowry exhibition called A City's Pride, opening on the first weekend in February.
It will showcase Salford's entire collection of the artist's work -- 350 paintings and drawings.
Admission to The Lowry and its exhibitions is free.
