Radcliffe Amateurs 0 Little Lever Sports Club 3:LITTLE Lever laid to rest one of their bogey teams with an impressive Lancashire Amateur League Premier Division win at Radcliffe.
Chris Beresford finished a three-man move to put Lever ahead in the fifth minute, and then Andy Bingham increased the lead from 20 yards.
Beresford put the game beyond doubt after a brilliant turn by Stuart Cubbin.
Lever's second team beat Hayward 6-1, with top scorer Tony Whitley and youngsters Dave Commons hitting two each. Mick Walkden was man of the match.
The third team's match was called off due to a waterlogged pitch, but the fourths bounced back from last week's shock defeat against Thornleigh by beating Old Boltonians 3-1.
Paul Atkinson, Aaron Bowers and Richard Partington scored to keep Lever on top of the table.
