SOME Looking Back readers might be interested in an "online museum" created by BT to provide information on Britain's telecommunications heritage.
The Connected Earth museum on the internet is said to provide visitors with a wealth of information including audio and video clips, 3-D images, interactive demonstrations and photographs.
Publicity material sent to me reads: "This unique online museum has been designed to provide a comprehensive, interactive, first port of call for anyone seeking information about how people have conveyed information - whether by e-mail, mobile phone, telegraph wire, carrier pigeon or bongo drum."
The web address is www.connected-earth.com
