AFTER reading what Guy Harkin wants to do, I think that the name should remain the same because, even if they change the name, people will still call it Bolton.
I was born and raised in Bolton and call that my home town and I don't see why he should want to change its name.
If the proposition goes ahead, it is only going to cause a great deal of hassle and it will also cause the shopkeepers of Bolton to change their address to Bolton-Le-Moors, which will cost them money.
Leave Bolton as Bolton and don't change the name, it won't be the same.
Hopefully, people, like me, will have the same reaction and they won't want to change the name of their home town.
