THE plush bachelor pad where England footballer David Beckham lived before he became a world famous star is up for sale for a cool £450,000.
The luxury four-bedroom house in Worsley, just a few miles from United's Old Trafford ground, was home to Becks for three years from 1996.
Beckham bought the three floor detached house in Hazelhurst Road for £200,000, and it was here he spent the early stages of his blossoming relationship with Posh Spice.
Later, he lived in a five bedroom converted barn in Nether Alderley, Cheshire, which, it was reported, he has put on the market for £1.75m, before moving to "Beckingham Palace" -- his home in Hertfordshire.
Beckham's Worsley pad had three double bedrooms for guests on one floor and an entire floor set aside for the former Manchester United star, including a luxurious bedroom with full en-suite facilities.
He commissioned local interior designers to build wardrobes to house his vast collection of designer gear. On the downstairs floor he had a games room complete with a billiards table, and a TV room packed with all the latest gadgets. The house also has two bathrooms and three loos. The house was a perfect haven to relax, built away from the road, with a walled rear garden.
When Beckham moved out, he left his house and a large amount of his possessions to a friend, and told him to donate it all to charity.
The house in the leafy village has now been placed on the market by its current owner for a cool £450,000.
Fiona Beirne, director of estate agent Urban Bases, which is selling the house, said: "This house suited Beckham's need for space. He had everything that he could have wanted."
The house was designed by Worsley architect Christopher Gray in the early 1990s, and since Beckham moved out, there have been two owners.
