HILTON Tameside moved to the top of the Premier Division with a 7-2 victory over a two-man Ramsbottom B.
It gives them a two-point advantage over Rammy A who have played two matches less.
Hilton A, in third place, scored an 8-1 win against Hilton B, and Mosses recorded their third win of the season with a narrow 5-4 victory over Lostock thanks to a treble by Paul Cicchelli.
In Division One the Little Lever derby saw the B team scrape home 5-4 despite a treble by Ian Lansdale for the C team.
Heaton A scored an excellent 6-3 win against top of the table Ladybridge A, which included a treble from Barry Dobbins.
The new leaders of Division Two, BEN A, scored a comprehensive 8-1 win over Heaton E, which included three wins apiece for Rod Hall and Mike Heaton.
Heaton C, in second place, won a close match with Meadow Hill 5-4 thanks to a treble from top ten leader Steve Barber.
Ladybridge B won at Halliwell Meths 8-1, with Paul Pover and John Cartledge each recording three wins, as did Duncan Kay for Heaton D who beat Hilton D 6-3.
Ramsbottom C, who have a two-point advantage over Hilton E on the top of Division Three, ran out 7-2 winners against Hilton I, in a match which was closer than the scoreline suggests.
The win included a treble by Vic Young. Hilton E went one better beating their G team 8-1, three wins here by top ten leader Siful Khan and Dave Marland.
Meadow Hill B scored maximum points on their visit to YMCA, and Ladybridge C, in third spot, won 7-2 at Heaton F, which included three wins by John Birchall. The improving Ellesmere were beaten 5-4 by Hilton F who won the final two sets.
The Division Four top of the table clash between Hilton J and Ladybridge D saw leaders Hilton J come from 4-3 down to win 5-4. It included an excellent treble by top ten leader John Barker. The win gives them a nine-point lead. Elsewhere Clive Roberts trebled for Heaton G in their 6-3 win at Hilton K.
