IN the Bolton Evening News of January 6, you reported a court case where an Iraqi asylum seeker was prosecuted for a drink driving offence.

Why are there still Iraqi "asylum seekers" in the UK? Saddam Hussein has been captured and his regime toppled.

British and American servicemen have laid down their lives to make Iraq a safer, more democratic country, as they have done in the former Yugoslavia.

So why are we still getting "asylum seekers" from these countries?
