PUNK firebrands Kinesis are currently hard at work recording material for their eagerly awaited second album in their own Manchester studio.
And guitarist Conor McGloin has revealed the band's modest resolution for the new year -- to change the world.
The politically aware Bolton quartet have posted an entry on their website admitting that they have built their own recording facility, after weeks of speculation from fans.
The group, who are currently taking a break from touring after supporting Nu-metal heavyweights Linkin Park, say they are "revitalised and full of energy," and have been spending 13 hour days at the secret location working on new tracks.
Conor says their new material is "some of the heaviest stuff we've ever written" and is "more diverse, and more extreme" than their previous songs.
The band have been experimenting with new sounds, and Conor says they have been incorporating different styles of music into their new tracks, taking their sound in a new direction.
In true Kinesis fashion, the outspoken guitarist still feels that the globe would not be the same without the Bolton foursome.
He says on the entry earlier this week: "We feel there is a strong need for a band like us, especially with everything happening in the world at the minute."
