SOME of our readers may well have suffered the humiliation of having sand kicked in their face by some hard guy on a beach.

Well here we have a sneaky pic taken from a new Sky One show showing just how those tables can be turned.

Underneath this desert of sand is tough guy Andy Morris. He is being suffocated by the tiny grains to test just how hard he is.

And you know what? He's pretty tough -- and managed to endure this tortue for longer than any of his competitors.

Andy is gunning for the title of Britain's Hardest on the £2 million Sky programme set to be aired soon.

The Bolton lad signed up for the physically, sporting and mentally challenging show after being egged on by his pal, British and European Thai Boxing Champion Sandy Holt.

And for a hard-going seven weeks, viewers will see him put through his paces -- no matter how painful each step may be.

Andy, who is also a Thai-boxing instructor and fighter, is actually quiet, humble, polite and not big headed at all in real life -- despite his nickname Ginger Ninja.

Along with thousands of others, he went for an audition and was chosen to represent the North-west.

Sandy has been training him up and told us: "Andy was named as the underdog by the Sky team. Even the show host Andy Freeman who is the Ultimate Fighter Champion called him that.

"But Andy won his heat in London after two days of gruelling challenges. You'll have to watch the show to see how well he does after that.

"Andy's a perfect gentleman in and out of the ring and very humble not as the programme title suggests."
