A LANCASHIRE folk duo have written a song for Britain's most famous steeplejack, Fred Dibnah.
Bacup based Hanky Park released their CD Rough and Ready which features the lead track "Ooh Ohh Fred Dibnah."
The song was written by band member Pete Martin, and is performed with Tony Downes.
The duo will perform the Fred Dibnah song, along with other Lancashire folk songs at a concert at the end of January.
The gig takes place at Bacup Folk Club, Irwell Terrace on January 26, at 8pm.
