DAVE Thornley and Gary Ellis won the Hanover Pairs Bowling Handicap at the LMRCA Club, Green Lane, Bolton.
The pair beat Albert Starkey and Mervin Yarwood 31-28 in the final after beating Chris Morrison and Mike Garrighty 31-12 in the semi-final. In the other semi, Starkie and Yarwood beat Peter Craig and Mel Gilbert 31-10.
