WAR veterans will soon be teaching schoolchildren about their experiences of 20th Century conflict.
The former soldiers will educate the youngsters about the Second World War in a scheme being developed by Manchester's Imperial War Museum North.
In a project called Their Past - Your Future, the veterans will teach children about the roles played by British forces and civilians during the war.
Sessions will take place in Normandy, Portsmouth, and on board HMS Belfast - and a competition has been launched to decide which schools will go on the trip.
