BOLTON Little Theatre will notch up a "first" as part of their next season.
Members will stage the local amateur premiere of the stage version of Brassed Off in May.
The theatre has announced readings/casting dates for some of their forthcoming productions. These sessions are open to anyone who is interested in taking part.
The theatre's June play is the comedy Quartet by Ronald Harwood who wrote The Dresser. The reading is on Tuesday, January 27 at 7.30 pm.
In August, BLT present Tripe! a new Bolton musical by Roger Spencer, who wrote the hugely successful Wakes! Tripe! will be part of Bolton Festival. Readings are on Mondays, February 9 and 16 at 7.30 pm. BLT's New Season Launch Night is on Monday, March 8 at 7.30 pm. The full new season will be announced, reading dates given and directors will provide details about the plays.
