STONES in His Pockets, Marie Jones' multi-award-winning international and West End hit comedy, opens at Bolton's Octagon Theatre on Wednesday night
Partly based on playwright Marie Jones' experience on film sets, Stones In His Pockets is a comedy set in a rural village in Country Kerry, Ireland.
When a major Hollywood film studio descends on the village, the demand for extras from the local community is huge.
Two actors -- Martin Jenkins and Christopher Patrick Nolan -- play 15 different roles, hilariously bringing a host of extraordinary characters to life.
Jones received both a Laurence Olivier Award and a London Evening Standard Award for the play which gained director Ian McElhinney a Tony nomination.
The production also received a Special Achievement Award from the Outer Critics Circle in New York.
The original cast of Conleth Hill and Sean Campion were both nominated for Tony Awards, with Hill winning a Laurence Olivier Award for Best Actor.
Stones in His Pockets has just celebrated its fourth year in the West End and recently completed a world tour.
The play runs at the Octagon until Saturday.
