IN reply to "Parking Paddy Victim - Lostock", letter published Saturday, January 17.
I wrote the letter about the parking problems. Not once have I threatened to slash anyone's tyres, not once have I stuck a note to anyone's windscreen. On several occasions I myself have been on the receiving end of such threats.
How dare you question my mentality?
I made the point about the parking situation as I find it difficult struggling with shopping and keeping my young child safe when I have to park away from my home. I suffer from ill health and do not see myself as being discourteous to people in asking for a place to park near to my home. If I have to park elsewhere in the street then I cause problems for others, therefore leading to the frayed tempers which you mentioned.
Do not tar everyone with the same brush. Things are not always black and white.
