PUB landlord Steve Waller is used to serving a smooth headed pint but now he's gone one step further by shaving his head for charity.
Steve, landlord of the Mason's Arms, in Sion Street, Radcliffe, raised £350 when he had his head shaved to make money for St Ann's Hospice and Cancer Research.
The shaving was only a part of the fundraising night in the Radcliffe pub, which hosted an exhibition darts match staged by Kevin Painter, the Ladbrokes World Championship runner-up. Steve decided to shave his head after the idea came from his wife Diane. The popular landlord was cheered on by the packed pub of regulars as mobile hair and beauty consultant Alicia Dodd gave him a close shave with the clippers.
