BOLTON radio presenter Victoria Derbyshire, has given birth to a healthy 8lb 3oz baby boy.
The announcement was made by Victoria's former co-presenter Nicky Campbell on Thursday morning's Radio Five Live breakfast show.
Oliver Paulo was born in a London hospital at around midday yesterday and is 34-year-old Victoria and partner Mark Sandell's first child.
Ramsbottom-born Victoria is proud of her roots and still pays regular visits to the North-west to see her mum Pauline and step-dad Des, who live in Turton. On her return to work this summer Victoria is set to take over Five Live's mid-morning phone-in show.
She will succeed stand-in presenter Julian Worricker after co-hosting the breakfast show with Nicky Campbell.
