DEFINING moments in world history are on show at Leigh's Turnpike Gallery in a display of photo memories from its French twin town of Angers.
The borough has hosted an annual exhibition of photography from Angers for 17 years.
But this year's exhibition will feature 100 prize-winning pictures by photo journalists who have been taking part in the exhibition since 1986.
It will include images of world-changing events from the fall of the Berlin Wall to the Olympic Games.
The exhibition, which has previously travelled to Beijing, Portugal and Germany, will be on display at the Turnpike until October 18.
