ONE of Britain's oldest and finest traditional brass bands is returning to Chorley next month.
Westhoughton-based Wingates will play a full concert programme entitled The Brilliance of Brass at Chorley Town Hall on Sunday, February 22.

Then how about going to Time2Jive at the Lancastrian Suite at Chorley Town Hall to learn some French Jive.
Also called modern jive or ceroc the classes begin on January 28 and are held every Wednesday night, 7.45-8.30pm for beginners and 9.15-10.30pm for intermediates.

ALARM bells may be ringing if you go to the Top Lock, Copthurst Lane, Heapey, on a Monday night.
As well as the usual quiz from 9pm-11pm, there's a chance of winning free drinks till closing if you get your timing right. An alarm clock is set at the bar and the person who happens to be ordering drinks when the alarm goes off gets free drinks for the rest of the night.

Thursday nights are dedicated to 80s music and on Fridays and Saturdays DJ Richie Rich will be spinning the wheels of steel from 8pm-1am. On Sunday's it's karaoke from 8.30-10.30pm.
