POLICE are appealing for information after the same car was involved in two aggravated burglaries just an hour apart.
Three masked men held up TV and Video Direct on Bradshawgate, Leigh, on Wednesday at 4.15pm.
They threatened staff before stealing a number of flat screen televisions and then escaping in a waiting green VW Passat waiting outside, driven by a fourth man.
Earlier that afternoon, at 3.05pm, four masked men entered a warehouse on Greba Road, in Southmoor Park, Baguley.
They arrived in two stolen cars, a silver Passat estate and a dark Passat saloon.
All four were searching the warehouse when they were disturbed by a worker.
They attacked the 36-year-old man with with a spade and spanner causing injuries to his legs. All four left empty handed and drove away in the two cars driven by two other men.
Police believe it was the same getaway car used for the aggravated robbery in Leigh.
The first man is described as white, 5ft 7in, skinny build. The second man is white, 6ft 4in, heavy muscular build, with short gingery hair, and the third man is 5ft 9in, medium build. The trio were all wearing a black balaclava and dark clothing. The getaway driver was also wearing dark clothing.
