BOLTON Mets ARLFC chalked up another victory on Saturday at home to Langworthy Reds of Salford.
The Mets had most of the ball in the first-half, but could only score one try. Full-back Pierce Sherrington finished off the move, when he touched down in the corner for a 4-0 score-line at the break.
Langworthy drew level soon after the break, but the Mets soaked up the pressure with loose forward Ryan Terry the top tackler. Second rower Dave Cain added another try for Bolton and converted a penalty in the dying minutes to give the Mets a well deserved 10-4 win.
Coach Chris Brown puts the Mets winning run down to improved defence and teamwork, but most of all better discipline.
Next week's game is away to Ince Rose Bridge. Players meet at the Hare and Hounds at 12.30pm.
