WORSLEY teenager Misha Timmins has taken her first steps towards stardom.
The 15-year-old Bridgewater School pupil has begun rehearsals for her role as one of two main female characters in a new TV comedy drama about teenagers.
It was third time lucky for Misha, who was chosen to play ditzy Gina at the third audition for The A to Z of Everything -- a teenage version of American sitcom Friends.
Like Bolton-born Radio 1 DJ Sara Cox, Misha grew up in a pub. Her dad, Roy, landlord of The John Gilbert, in Worsley Brow, said: "I think being around people at the pub all her life has helped build her confidence and develop her bubbly, outgoing personality.
"We are really proud of her and can't wait to see the series, although it will be a bit strange seeing her on TV."
Misha will spend three months filming for the show, which will be screened in September.
She is also a cheerleader for rugby's Sale Sharks and Warrington Wolves.
