ANGLERS who fish without a licence are being warned that they will be prosecuted.
Last month, the Environment Agency successfully prosecuted 13 people in the North-west for fishing without a licence, and fines amounted to more then £800.
Coarse and trout licences range from £2.75 for a day pass to £22 for a full licence.
They can be bought from post offices or other outlets and are available via the Internet at www.environ
