THE Workers Educational Association, founded in 1903, has just celebrated its centennial year of providing adult education.
The North Western District has 25 branches with voluntary members, staff and tutors working together to meet local needs. Founded in 1910, the Bolton Branch provides a variety of courses ranging from calligraphy to railway history, songs from the musical to the history of jazz.
