THE Waterfold Business Park in Bury has been a success -- with just one unit remaining on the first phase of the development.
work has now commenced on the second phase, due for completion in August.
Since work began last spring, a total of 12,068 square feet of office space has been taken in the first speculative phase, with construction not yet complete.
The latest units have been bought by Cobe Consulting, a firm of charters surveyors from Oldham, and one of the scheme's own marketing agents, Paul Nolan & Co, which will soon be moving into a 2,009 sq ft unit.
Jamie Seddon, of Bolton-based developers the Seddon Group, said: "Obviously location will always be important for this type of scheme, but more and more companies are considering commercial property as a long-term business investment and are looking for freehold opportunities."
