WESTHOUGHTON High School turned to Carling Cup finalists Bolton Wanderers to help launch a new project where youngsters will teach their adult relatives about computers.
Under the scheme, key stage three pupils will bring relatives to school for lessons. Adults will also be encouraged to attend taster sessions at the school's community learning facilities.
It is hoped the lessons will inspire more adults to return to education.
It is the first phase of a £10,000 project funded by the Barclay's New Futures Award.
