THE banning of English flags from company vehicles and shop windows is a joke.
What is the point of this country having a flag if we are not allowed to fly it?
I have a Jamaican family next door who have flags in their windows and stickers on their cars, two Asian families across from me who have English flags in the windows, and various take-aways in the town centre are flying the English flag.
I lived in Turkey for a while and I know that their government or councils would not lower themselves to tell people to take down their flags.
There is no way anyone would ask people in Scotland, Wales or Ireland to do so either.
