A HUGE one-off advice fair has been organised by Bolton Council to offer free help to residents on a whole host of matters.
Experts on everything from housing, tax credits, energy providers, employment to social care will be under one roof at the event, which is being held on Thursday July 22 in Victoria Square, Bolton, from 10am to 4pm.
The event is open to everyone and there will be an Urdu and Gujarati speaker available all day along with a British Sign Language interpreter and lipspeaker who will be there from 11am to 2pm.
Groups involved are Age Concern; Bolton Young People's Advice and Support Service; Bolton Racial Equality Council; Bolton Institute; Bolton Money Skills Service (Quids In); Citizen's Advice Bureau; Council Tax Section; GM Low Pay Unit; Housing Benefits Section; Inland Revenue; Consumer Advice; Housing Advice; Welfare Rights Service; Social Services Department; New Deal Jobcentreplus; PALS Bolton Health Care Trust; Pension Service; and Bolton Mental Health Advisers.
