DAVID and Amanda Mottershead are back from their Spanish holiday with a rather special souvenir -- baby Ben.
Amanda, aged 32, gave birth to Ben just two weeks ago, when a bout of Spanish tummy turned out to be an 8lb baby!
The family is now adjusting to life back in Radcliffe with the newest member of the family.
Amanda said: "We flew from Palma to Manchester last Friday, and it is great to be back home. We're just about getting over the shock.
"In the hotel, when I felt really ill, I thought it was something serious like a burst appendix because the pain was so bad. I did not have a clue I was pregnant, but I didn't really feel my daughter Abigail when I was pregnant with her, either."
Amanda and David aged 33, of Bolton Road, came home to a mountain of cards and good wishes.
Amanda said: "It's been amazing. I do not know what I would have done without my mum being here. She is great in a crisis, and just got on the telephone to everyone she knew. When we arrived home we had everything we needed."
Daughter Abigail, aged five, is over the moon with the new arrival and has already put in a request for a baby sister.
Amanda added: "In the hospital Abigail said that she thought her brother was very nice and wondered when she could have a little sister."
