THE Bank of England's decision to leave interest rates on hold was the right one, according to the Engineering Employers Federation.
The manufacturers' organisation in the region says yesterday's decision will give the Bank time to assess the impact of recent rises in the cost of borrowing.
John Malam, EEF North-west chief executive, said: "There are signs of better business for manufacturers across the region, but investment must rise to sustain growth."
