MOTORCYCLE and music enthusiasts are being asked to raise money for charity and have fun at the same time in Atherton this weekend.
The Fenrir Motorcycle Brotherhood will be holding its 10th annual charity event, to raise money for the Two Porches special school in Atherton and the Motorneurone Disease Society.
As well as more than 300 motorcycles and their riders, local bands will perform at the Atherton Colleries Football Club, Alder Street, on tonight and tomorrow night. Motorcycle enthusiasts from all over the country will be travelling to the event, where rallies and competitions such as the best bike will be held. There will also be new-age stalls including one selling 'alternative footwear'. Tonight, Bolton band Rif Raf will be playing and tomorrow Road Runner will entertain along with ex-Thin Lizzy guitarist Graham Russell. There will be a rock disco.
Tickets are just £5 and people can pay on the door. Camping is also included in the price. More information is available from Paul on 07880 570404 for further information.
