TWO men have admitted stealing 86 bricks to build a barbecue.
Stephen Crossthwaite, aged 23, of Sumner Avenue, Ainsworth, and Barry Griffiths, 29, of Scholes Street, Bury, were made subject to tagging orders at Bury Magistrates after stealing their hall from Kendalbuild Ltd.
Anna Morris, prosecuting, said the pair were seen removing engineering bricks from the building site off Tottington Road and stacking them up near a footbridge. Crossthwaite later said he wanted the bricks to build a barbecue.
The magistrates decided to make both men subject to a curfew between 6pm and 6am seven days a week until September 8.
