A GOLF course made entirely of recycled materials will be officially opened on Saturday at Egerton's Victorian fete.
Thousands of visitors are expected to attend the Victorian weekend which will be full of fun for all the family.
The crazy golf course will be officially opened by local pensioners Morris and Marion Young, who have been chosen because of their many years in the Egerton community.
It is hoped that the golf course will attract visitors from across the country.
Volunteers in period costume will be running stalls, and there will be Victorian games such as splat the rat, skittles and a coconut shy.
The Victorian tea rooms, at the top of the park in Blackburn Road, will be open as will the Victorian school room, bedroom and kitchen.
Regulars from eight local pubs will be competing for the title of Tug of War champions on Sunday and the North-west morris dancers will be entertaining the crowds.
Volunteers will be collecting funds for Cancer Research UK.
Tony Muscat, chairman of the Bromley Cross Residents Association, said: "We are hoping the weather stays fine for us and the event is the success it usually is. There will be plenty of activities for all ages and it will be lovely to see the crazy golf course officially open. A lot of hard work has gone into it."
