POLICE rescued a man from a quarry lodge last night. Officers were called to Montcliffe Quarry, in St George's Lane, Horwich, at 6.10pm, after a 58-year-old man jumped into the water.
The man, from Farnworth, was pulled out by officers and taken to the Royal Bolton Hospital and treated for hypothermia.
