A COUNTRY fair was so successful in its first year, it is back again this year,

The Moses Gate Country Park will be held tomorrow from noon until 5pm, with an exciting line-up of events for all the family.

African drumming troupe Osagyefo will perform at the opening ceremony and welcome Mayor Prentice Howarth into the park's arena at 1pm.

Attractions will include the Cheshire Waterlife falconry display, featuring impressive birds of prey. The park's 750 acres will be divided into sections offering something for the whole family. Bourbon Street Roof Raisers Jazz Band will be entertaining the crowds providing a musical backdrop to the spectacular setting of the park.

For the children there will be a fun train ride, a fair, hair braiding, face painting, s Punch and Judy, and an inter-active circus skills workshop with uni-cycling, juggling and stilt walking.

There will be bargains at the woodland craft stall and various community craft stalls to explore. Tree surgeon, Mark Hatch, will lead tree climbing demonstrations.

Tea, coffee and snacks will be provided by the local scouts.

The event, run and organised by Bolton Council's Countryside Service, is free.
